Evidently this place was designed for noise, with pitched ceiling and low divider in single dining area the noise from others can be distracting if you are trying to visit. Decor is big screen. My first visit the burger I had wasn't bad, the second trip I planned on having grilled pork dinner but left after hostess came to tell me that they had given table away she had been saving for me and a friend (they move us down the list when they sent us to the bar?), anyway we were getting hungry and felt snubbed so we left. Hostess was apologetic, they are new and still getting organized but where was manager?
The management at Hickorys is great! The staff there are all friendly, just getting down the flow of things and the newness of it all. All the tables I was seated around seemed to be enjoying their delicous steaks and burgers. And the rumor is an actual outdoor area for summer nights where smoking isn't the only reason to be outside. Can't wait!
