Szabo's in downtown Albany serves a great 'conventional' breakfast, the bacon, hazelnut toast and the spuds are prepared perfect for me. Unlike almost all the other restaurants in Albany meal proportions and taste are consistent from one visit to the next, like someone in the kitchen takes pride in their preparation. Coffee is also good quality. I dine out daily and Szabo's service, at least during weekend when I stop for breakfast there, is usually the best I experience during a typical week of eating out in the Albany area.
